Roll Call: North Carolina

Looking to play Sunday if anyone is interested. Have a UNC Finley voucher (after 11 am) and a RGA rain check (woof) but open to other options too. Groupon Finley vouchers are back up as of this AM, FYI.

Earliest times I see at Finley for this Sunday are 12:30ish

I’m considering getting out to Hillandale or Occoneechee on Sunday if we don’t get a lot of rain on Friday night. Otherwise, I might head south down 1 to Quail Ridge, Hyland, or Southern Pines.

How did you know they were coming to town?

I’m in on Carolina’s Royal and Ancient. Thanks for taking the lead on Captain @Double_Bogey_Dave. Let me know how I can help.

Tron invited me to play with them at Caledonia and I drove up to Wilmington afterwards to hang out the night before they played the Muni.

Right on, I still haven’t been down to those two spots. Might be down there for a b day trip this year.

I am taking advantage of my Pine Needles CGA deal on Saturday. 8:40 am. Hoping to get in at least 27. Me and one non-refuge buddy. Anyone else that can make it, grab the other half of the tee time!

Dang, have a lesson at Prestonwood Saturday morning at 10 so probably can’t do it. Y’all enjoy – hopefully it’s not too soggy!

I have that voucher too. I can’t do Saturday and I’d like to do Mid Pines. Maybe we can get some folks to go in the next couple weeks if there’s a weather friendly day.

Would love to play either while they’re still $95 on weekends

May I ask what the deal is? I am Considering taking my talents (ok, well, my $$ for a GHIN) to the CGA and want to know what the pluses are.

They just had a deal that was available to members for $75 to play either Pine Needles or Mid Pines with no restricted days up to Feb 20, and it includes free replays same day.

This brings me to a question for the broader group, between those two courses, which do you like best? Pine Needles or Mid Pines?

My last trip had me in the Mid Pines camp, so that is why I am going back to take another crack at Pine Needles again.

I am firmly in the Mid Pines camp, although I should say I’ve only played pine needles twice compared to probably 20 rounds at mid pines
