What’s up degenerates? Figured it’s finally time to engage this merry band of misfits. Quick synopsis: live in Charlotte, work in the business in sales. Territory is Triangle/Triad/Sandhills, and I generally get my golf in Tuesday-Wednesday afternoons when I’m on the road, or on Fridays at Sifford when I’m at home. Would love to tee it up with some fellow refugees when I’m not gonna freeze my tits off like I did today. Hopefully will see some of you in March, swmbo permitting

There has been some chat in the RACDG this week about calving off a separate Carolinas chapter rather than lumping you in with the Mid Atlantic / South East chapters. I thought I would run it through this group (and the SC one) to see what you thought. There are already a few of you in the RACDG Mid Atlantic and even the Florida SE one. But would more of you be inclined to get involved if we set up your own with events closer to home?
Ultimately the dream for the RACDG is enough people in every state to end up with one per state (more than one in some instances) but we’re taking baby steps first to see how we get there in the easiest way everyone can enjoy.
I should also say that as far as accessible public golf goes, you guys have it much better than anyone else, so I fully expect some fun shenanigans if you do go for it…

I’m up for seceding to start our own chapter, there seem to be plenty up here in the north state and I’m sure SC crew would be in. Being right in between the both of them, it makes sense for us to have our own.

The ambition was always to calve new groups from bigger ones as the whole thing grew so that people had less far to travel and therefore more options to play, so it makes sense to just do it now that there are a good few of you.
I am adjusting the Roll Call sheet to add a Carolinas Chapter so please go back in when you have a few mins and move your entry to the new Carolinas Chapter.

Hillandale is a good bet. Really easy to and from RDU from there.
