I played there once and it was on a discount from some myrtle beach golf pass my buddies dad had, they acted like we were stealing from them when we used the voucher. and seeing as I only played there once I wasnāt paying the most attention to the greens. sucks that theyāre being scummy, such a fun layout and an excellent piece of land
Also about to go private. No shocker to any local that isnāt already a member. Same deal with Compasse Point too! The LA/Wilm golf scene getting blasted

I worked there for a while years ago and the owners were always extremely cheap. At the time the bunkers were in pretty bad shape but they refused to do anything and tried to keep the rates up so sadly not shocked to hear. Itās too bad because it has the potential to be a real fun course with a great setting.

It appears Iām going to need to transfer my roost membership to one of the nc zones as the dc/md/va stuff is all taking place 4 hours away on the other side of the state, geographicly Iām closer the triad than anything and it appears I need to figure out whom to discuss this with?

Iām heading to oak island tonight. There for work. Probably play tomorrow. Maybe just oak island golf course. I really enjoy that course. I loved cape fear last year and only paid 65. Sucks if itās that high. Played magnolia a few years back. Would be hard pressed to return. Riversedge was fun. I like arnie courses. Didnāt blow my socks off though. I didnāt mind Lockwood folly either. Again not the best but not bad at all either. Iām thinking hard about hitting the wilmuni up this trip.

muni is the answer. everything that could possibly be considered better is extremely overpriced. the muni clubhouse just got renovated too. i get out there at least once a weekend and i love it every time.

CF National is going fully private from what I hear which is a bummer but makes to much sense for them not to.
Drove by Muni on Tuesday on my way to hockey it looked great for end of February.

Honestly the only answer for public golf in ILM is the muni. Itās so damn good
Alright guys so to sum things up for anyone going to Wilmington the only answer is the FUCKING MUNI!!! If you go anywhere else you are wrong. If you ask people golf degenerates like ourselves and people who live there and everyone says the muni then fricken go to the muni and stop thinking about the other courses because they are shit!!!
