i know scrambles aren’t really a big hit with the NLU community, but i wanted to throw this out there none the less.
a good buddy of mines mom is currently battling Multiple Myeloma; unfortunately shortly after her diagnosis she found herself without a job and insurance.
As a result we are putting together a little tourney at an absolute goat ranch in Kernersville, NC in an attempt to raise some funds for her.
Looking for hole sponsors, donations for prizes as well as teams to enter, please let me know if you are interested or you can reach out to the email on the flyer below…
a non profit has been established for tax purposes for anyone interesting in sponsoring or donating.
Haha yeah we switched my sophomore year. Diluted a great conference. Northwest, you guys, us and Page. Glenn wasn’t great but their number one played at NC state. Pretty solid group of players
Yeah we used to go back and forth weekly. After realignment we were just competing with southeast really. Page got better but it was a two horse race (which we won every time but they gave us a run)
Uh I had never heard about that story haha but it is under new management. I haven’t personally played it but friends back home have said they are putting money in and the course is looking pretty solid
well thats good to hear i guess…its a fun little course and the people out there are cool; definitely a goat ranch thats always wet AF but its kernersville after all
when i was at RTJ they had a bad ass Spaniel, maybe a Springer, that was trained out the ass that would run the geese off…shit was incredible to watch; she would swim them fucking things across Lake Manassas to the other course
Geese are protected under the migratory bird act. Sorry, we don’t own the world. They have the right to live also. Not to mention there are ways to discourage geese without killing them. Check out Goose Masters. They do some pretty cool work with dogs.
I wanted to beat the shit out of some child at my club a month or so ago, he was throwing golf balls at geese from mere steps away. His grandfather/father was doing nothing about it, and looked at me like I was crazy for pulling him up about it. Should have just pelted the kid with balls until he got the message.
