Roll Call - MN contingent? (Part 1)

Yep. He’s on Prairie Lake, so not too far apart

I love the tournament, but the PoP there just drove me nuts, my back can’t handle the 15 minute waits between holes.

One of my high school buddies won the P2P a few years ago. It’s crazy how many good golfers that tournament has.

Yeah, it’s fun to watch the champ flight guys. Most of them just nuke the ball.

Can confirm. I’ve played golf with the guy probably 100 times since I started in 7th grade. I haven’t even sniffed beating him on 18 holes. He hits it at least 50 yards past me. Probably more.

Chris Swenson? He doesn’t even hit it that far compared to most of those guys, really good player though. The Gopher players just merk the ball.

He hits it pretty damn far. I haven’t seen any of the Gophers play but it’s hard for me to believe they smash it past him.

I have family from and still in Enderlin! Longtime principal of the high school Mr Midthun!

The episode was exactly right. It is when @Randy realizes that people are already in line and the crew is a bit late due to him over sleeping. No harm no foul though!

Legitimate point. I remember when Valley City was falling over themselves claiming Jeff Boschee as their favorite son…not sure if I’m alone in that one.

My brother loved in Valley City for awhile, it’s a strange place to live.

Hole 4 for me. So tite.

This looks interesting to me. I play a ton of golf and have wanted to play some sort of competitive golf, I have never done that before. I’m kinda nervous and didn’t know where to start. So this looks like it could be right up my alley as a 12 handicap.

Yeah, I’m tempted again. Last year I think I signed up in the winter and then cancelled (but got my money back). I’ll play it by ear, but am leaning towards it. I have a lot of events at my club that are handicapped, but there’s something a little enticing about a state competition. Even if everyone is just from the Twin Cities.
