You gotta post that in the classic equipment thread. So much knowledge and input there. Thank God I don’t have a large disposable income otherwise they would have taken it all by now.
Posted. I genuinely would love to learn more about it.
Thanks for the advice!
pretty sure it’s just a standard 2 iron, probably made in the 30s-40s. I’ll let an expert chime in, but I’m pretty sure Macgregor started in Dayton Ohio (hence the later association with Nicklaus) – hickory shaft?
Not hickory, in fact it had what appeared to be a metal shaft that was painted to look like wood. I don’t have a picture of the shaft but the next time I’m up north I can get one! Thank you for some insight!
that transition to “look like wood” happened in the 30-40s…when steel was BETTER for longevity, but the stigma associated to steel wasn’t good.
Super interesting. Thank you, sir! I thought the stamping of the “club” symbol near the heel was cool
What video is this from? I want to say TS season 3?
I am going to have to delve back in a rewatch them all now to validate this…
My wife will be so pleased
Believe it’s the old course episode, when randy is reacting to hearing that the wake up call will be in like 3 hours after having some pints with the lads
New poster here. I live in SE North Dakota but I spend a fair amount of time in Lakes Country Minnesota. My family has a house about 20 min from Detroit Lakes. Last year I played in Pine2Palm for the first time and got obliterated…

ND REPRESENT! I made an ND roll call thread, too, but we are kind of a rare breed around here. Welcome!
Enderlin ND.
My dad lives just outside Pelican Rapids…I sense a game brewing next summer.

Love the Pine2Palm, played in the flights division several times.
You go Championship?
No I’m a very regular hacker. I played in the flights as well.
