Just find out Iā€™m moving to the Biloxi/Gulfport/Ocean Springs area this summer. Quick research shows some exciting courses to try out. Couple questionsā€¦

  • Any one live or lived there and recommend a certain area to live? Open to any recommendations in the area.

  • I see there are multiple casino courses which is exciting, but any recommendations on a good membership club that you could set up shop and have as your everyday course? Donā€™t think Iā€™m going to be sneaking out on Fallen Oak for a quick afternoon 9 after work. lol

Iā€™m down there every once in a while since the in-laws live in Ocean Springs. I personally prefer OS over the other areas of the MS gulf coast.

Iā€™ll definitely reach out if Iā€™m ever in the area. In terms of playing partners, @Sergios_Landscaping is your guy across the state line in Louisiana. Thereā€™s not that many people in the area (MS coast) on the Refuge that Iā€™m aware of.

Hey all, I called over to Mossy Oak and they seem interested in hosting an event. Several of you have expressed interest, and Iā€™d imagine others would if it were planned. Send me a message if youā€™d be willing to help organize and weā€™ll get an initial call scheduled.

Depending on time of the year, I would make the trip for this.

We did a buddyā€™s trip down there 2 summers ago and played 18 at Shell Landing and 36 at Fallen. Really wanted to play The Preserve but they punched that week so we settled for Shell which was solid. People Iā€™ve talked to down there say Preserve is the 2nd best course on the coast behind Fallen Oak.

It rained 2" overnight and we had 8:30 am tee times the next dayā€¦they ran the Sub Air all night at Fallen and you barely even had mud on your ball, by that afternoon round you would have never known it rained.

Just moved down to Brandon from Starkville late last year. Anyone in the Jackson area play regularly, and where? Iā€™ve played Patrick Farms, The Refuge and Castlewoods. If anyone wants to play on the weekends, let me know, Iā€™d love to meet some fellow Refuge and Nest members from Mississippi.

I was just trying to catch up on the thread and saw that. I would absolutely be down to do an event at Mossy Oak / Waverly. Surely between Memphis, Birmingham, and the Jackson area we would have enough to start a Roost. That would be super dope.

We tried to but didnā€™t make the cut. There is a spreadsheet in this thread for it. Add your information and hopefully over the next year we pick up enough traction to start one. I think a meet up at Mossy/Waverly would be a good indicator if a Roost is possible in this area.

Was gonna try and stop by Fallen Oak on my way down I-10 on Friday, but they said you have to be staying at the resort. Gonna check our Shell Landing.

Yea you have to be staying at the Beau Rivage to play Fallen Oak unfortunatelyā€¦Shell Landing is solid!

Shell Landing is my next favorite on the coast but Fallen Oak is world class. There are far worse ways to spend a few hundred bucks than a night at the Beau Rivage and 18 at Fallen Oak.
