Speaking of Golden ValleyâŚdoes any other âtop tierâ club in the Twin Cities publish their dues structure? And is anyone struggling to fill out their membership?
GVCC is doing a membership drive during the reno (yikes?) and is advertising pretty hard, especially considering the course is closed all year. They also claim a major pool upgrade is coming next year (double yikes?). Is everything alright over there?
I last searched in 2017-2018, but the only places I remember having âdrivesâ or âdealsâ were Minnesota Valley (post-Reno) and Oak Ridge (pre-re-grassing). MV was something like if you joined in August for 2500 down, you got a lower initiation or maybe deferred dues? OR had a deal where $500 got you unlimited club/golf access for 1 month during the summer.
Midland (pre-Reno) sent me a membership info sheet while I was living in Chicago, before I moved here. I canât remember the details or if there was a deal there.
I bet they are losing some members during closure, transparency might help them recruit, but who knows?
I recently reached out to Oak Ridge about membership due to my proximity to the course. If anyone is interested in specifics reach out via DM and I can send over the info.
High level, I think it is a little more up front and monthly than GVCC based on what was posted above. The membership person said they were close to going on a waiting list at ORCC for the full golf membership.
