Ferry parking is in Falmouth, off RT 1. They bus you down to the ferry and back.
Chebeague Island Inn is really your only choice for food on the island but it’s good.
Can send you a hundred and 1 choices in Portland just depends what you’re into.

You won’t need it. Course is right off the dock (one tee box is actually on it), the Inn is right off 1 green & 2 fairway. Just walk right up when you’re ready to eat.
Genuinely nothing else to see on the island.

Played Fox Ridge and Penobscot Valley this weekend. Fox Ridge is a criminally overlooked course in my opinion. PVCC was a nice course that just needs a little TLC. It has good bones and is very replayable. Amazed by the ease of getting a late morning time at both. As usual Maine golf doesn’t disappoint.

What’s happened to Penoby in the last 20 years is just sad.
I’ll be in Portland Aug 7th to August 12th. Arundel is on my list but would love to hit another. Would love to play with any of you guys. Also any general recs as well! Will be staying in Munjoy Hill.

You can book CA up to three days out (have to call the pro shop). The greens are rolling very pure right now.

Since there is talk of CA going on in here, I feel like now is a good time to ask: what is the likelihood of the course still being open mid-october? 10/17-19 is when I’ll be in the area.
Will most likely be open then. Best time of year to play there - course is quiet and it’ll be their cheapest rate.

Weather is shaping up to be perfect next week
Generally what’s the latest tee time to finish with light? Walking.
My plan is to call Monday and get a tee time at Ardunel on Thursday to finish around golden hour. Anyone interested to join then?
Other than that I’ll defer to you guys on a course if you want to play. I’m free Friday and Sunday.
I am available Sunday. Somewhere in the York area, but could get up to Cape Arundel probably as well depending on timing. I’ll look into it this weekend and we can chat.

You probably want a 4:00 tee time to finish up with golden hour. Out of town next week but enjoy yourself if you get out to CA!
