In that light, I just perused the Maine Am schedule of events. I think I’m going to play in the qualifier event at Biddeford - Saco in early June. Fun track, and I’ve seen it once at least already.
If anyone wants to A) also join B) play a practice round with me C) offer any general tournament tips I’m here for it. Competed in 2 club championships so far and that’s it.

I’ve qualified there more times than I care to mention lol 75 is the comfy number 99 out of a hundred times.
You legit never need to hit a driver there and if you’re going in blind, I’d suggest you don’t lol.
@jquentin plays out there - could for sure be your guiding light.
Also - just accept a bogey on 11 and move on

Think I shot 79 there so that’s encouraging. I think I hit driver on a par 5 early ish? 4-5? I ended up in that gulley though.
3 - yep, I lay back and just play it as an easy 3-shot hole.

Happy to give anyone some advice if they are playing they qualifier at BSCC! The course is fairly simple after you have played it a few thousand times.

The first firm opening date I’ve seen came in through an email from Poland Spring this weekend- Memorial Day Weekend.
They are traditionally one of the last courses to open, I think, but that still seems super late.

Hello neighbors, got a dudes/bros/cousins weekend golf trip planned next month and playing Great Chebeague on Sunday.
Anyone have advice in terms of logistics as well as food options on the island?
I know there is a ferry but not fully picturing how it all works.
