New to the forum, checking in here.
I live in LA and play in the Rancho Park menâs club, plus in our wandering skins games that we set up all over LA/OC/Ventura county whenever there arenât any club events going on, which has been frequently of late since weâre not allowed to have tournaments on the LA City courses still.
Weâve been playing a lot at Simi Hills and Rustic, which are both great tracks and in great shape right now. I played at Angeles National for the first time in a while and that place is in nearly perfect condition right now. Itâs not my favorite track, but it felt like a country club last week.
We also got up to Soule Park last week and that place is always amazing. Great track, awesome conditions, and itâs like $40 to play on the weekend, which is incredible.

Welcome @BCRock. I would guess weâve crossed paths before. I am a survivor of the Rancho Menâs Club scene which I left almost 10 years ago. Iâm now in the Soule Park menâs club with @TacoBucket, @NineTo5Golf and a few others here. Look forward to playing sometime.

I have business in Southern California next week and am coming in a day early to play Rustic for the first time. Iâm booked as a single at 12:30 on Sunday August 2. Looks like the other 3 spots are still available. Happy to play with any Refugees who want to grab one of the other spots.

Weâve actually got 3 twilight times booked that same afternoon 3:30-3:50p for a sort of âgoing awayâ type thing for me before I move to Dallas. Weâll also be playing Soule Park early that morning and have spots available there as well between 6:50-7:10a.

Thanks a lot for the heads up and invite! I canât swing that because my meetings are first thing Monday in San Diego. Between what Iâve heard about the pace of play at Rustic and the time itâll take to drive from Rustic to San Diego, that would probably put me at the hotel pretty late. Hope yâall have a great time.

I play at Alondra every couple months with the South Bay Public Links group. Definitely some fun holes there.

I try to play Alondra a couple times a month since itâs 15 minutes from me. Usually after work on a weekday. Been in halfway decent shape recently.
