I’m less frustrated with Soule than Rustic but I don’t know the deets there. Keith is a good guy, could learn a thing or two about scheduling multiple shotguns at the same time but otherwise good. Their food service is slow AF though. Anyone going to The Boomerang should order early.
Been trying for months to get a group of 30 out to Rustic. Been passed around to different people with no success. Could easily be $5,000 for them. Not interested.

fwiw im told rustic is aware of the speed probs and allegedly making moves to speed things up on weekends at least. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Played on Sunday and we had major issues with the two groups in front of us. Granted we were three and they were both foursomes, but there were at least two holes wide open in front of them. We asked on the 8th hole to play through and they said “No, we’re in a tournament and you’re not allowed to.” Now, Rustic doesn’t “do” events outside of their men’s club so I’m not sure what they were referring to. If they were actually part of an event, it couldn’t have included more than the one group in front of them because then they would’ve been playing way behind the rest of the event.
I went into the pro shop at the turn and they sent someone out but they didn’t talk to the group in front of us, unsure if they talked to the other slow group ahead of them, and the speed didn’t get any better. I called in again a few holes later and they said they’d send someone out but never did.
This isn’t to say they don’t have plans to do something but they definitely didn’t effectively do anything in this specific scenario. At the end of the day I think we still got around in just over 4.5 hours but I was pretty disappointed at both the lack of anything from the pro shop and the pissy attitudes from the group in front.

The 4 directly in front of us was 3 guys and a woman. When they wouldn’t let us play through I asked if they could at least speed up one of the guys responded “we’re 4 and you’re 3 so you’re just faster than us”, which was more fuel to my play through ask, and then the woman said “yeah we’re 4 and we have a girl”.
I was a bit baffled with this insinuation that women are slower than men by default, even though they had 3 carts in 1 group.

Definitely a goer. I’m not an early riser by any means so 9 would be perfect.

Even if you have four already, I’ll note that that @Lazstradamus joined our first group out at the NIT qualifier last month and as a 5-some we still finished a solid 40 minutes ahead of the next group. He’s not going to slow you down.
Then again, as someone who has work tomorrow and would rather read Oregon Trail … forget what I just said.
