Unfortunately, after a quick look into the backend of our scoring software that is tied with the USGA, it appears Peninsula is not currently affiliated with the state golf association or USGA. This could be because they’re out of date with their renewal, or a choice by the club not to carry a handicap service. Hope this helps!

Forgot to jump back in here after we got back but Kentucky Dam State Park is can’t miss if you are around Paducah. Would love to see it fully grown in as we caught it still a little dormant. We are already thinking about planning a weekend trip with Erin the early fall or late summer using it as a home base with how much of a steal the stay and play was:
$92/person for lodging in a 2br/2 bath cottage on the golf course essentially with 4 queen beds, golf with cart, and breakfast in the lounge.

The Grint has the course in its database (although hearing that it is not in the USGA makes me wonder). I just recorded a score from there this past weekend in the Grint and it seems to have transferred over to the GHIN app. Unfortunately, looking at this to answer your question, I found out my GHIN has expired, so I can’t answer if the scores were actually applied.
Yeah I doubled it from the back right bunker haha. Seeing my brother who is a teaching pro geek out about it was fun. If they could find a way to put a 2nd 18 on ste they could turn that into a really special little resort.

You can manually post your score in the GHIN app for handicap purposes but won’t be able to track your round as you go.
Played Big Blue at the University Club in Lexington on Friday, was super impressed with the course.

Interesting situation. At one point, it appears that the course was officially rated, as Blue Golf has ratings.
Since the course is in TheGrint with those ratings, you can keep your score and TheGrint will “force” your score in to the GHIN system. While maybe not officially rated right now, it should post according to what the ratings used to be and everything should be as normal.
I know this because I used it on The Sandbox at Sand Valley and it put that score in to my GHIN. Since it was wacky and effected my index, I had to contact my administrator to remove the score.

A buddy of mine bought 3 PGA Championship+ tickets for Saturday, which include food and drink (alcohol not included), but can no longer use them due to a family issue that popped up earlier today. He paid $250/each for them but I think he’ll part for $150 per ticket. The resale sites wont let him sell it under $250 so I figured I’d throw it on the nest to see if there’s any interest. The tickets can be transferred electronically via seat geek. Shoot me a DM if you wanna walk the grounds on Saturday.
I can vouch for the Championship+ tickets. Went to Monday’s practice round, grabbed whatever I needed, showed them my wristband and walked out. Pretty seamless.

My wife and I will be running the 2025 Disney Marathon Weekend on behalf of The American Cancer Society and Team Determination. This is an excellent cause and a great way to support cancer research. My wife will be doing the half marathon and I will be running the half marathon and marathon on consecutive days. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
