The tee times on their site are CST, right?
This is coming off a Sweetens trip two weeks ago while staying in Downtown Chattanooga so I have a bit of time zone math PTSD…

Yessir! Central time zone aka the best time zone (just wish we weren’t so far on the eastern block of it)
Heading back early from Nashville 10/22 and got an 8:30 tee time at park mammoth. Anyone else gonna be out and about that morning?
Hey all - my fiance and I will be visiting Lexington between 12/30 and 1/2 to see Tyler Childers. Looking for any recs you all may have on food, bars, and whatever else is worth checking out while we’re in town! Thanks in advance!
The pizza is OK but it’s a cool place. About – Joe Bolognas
They might be remodeling though.
That’s awesome! Would love to see him live. Are you driving in from Chicago? A lot of Bourbon trail opportunity on the way in is the obvious answer.
Hey everyone. Gonna be in Louisville for the PGA Championship in May. Hoping to squeeze in some golf with the boys who have varying levels of ability. Any recommendations on where to play? Appreciate you all.
Are you staying around Louisville I’m assuming? Chariot Run over in Indiana right across the river is really nice and there is also a casino near by if you’re into that kind of thing.
Yeah we’ll be staying between the airport and Valhalla. Also looking for restaurant, distillery, brewery, etc recommendations
I’ve done the Evan Williams tour and really enjoyed it! I’ve also heard great things about Angels Envy! For food, La Bogodeta de Mira near down town is one of my favorite restaurants!
Headed to Louisville area next week with my wife for a quick getaway. Going to play 1 round (if the weather holds up) so looking for suggested courses. Right now leaning towards Chariot Run or Champions Pointe. Looking for a course with minimal trees and a more open links-y vibe.
Thoughts on Chariot Run or Champions Pointe? Open to other suggestions as well and we are staying in SE Indiana so drive time is a factor. Hoping to keep it less than 30 min each way.
In Southern Indiana I have also heard really good things about Lucas Oil, but have never played there. Sultan’s Run in Jasper is good too, but probably outside of that 30 minute window. Same goes for Christmas Lake in Santa Clause (better value than Sultans in my opinion)
Sultans Run is definitely on my list but probably not this trip and may save it for a French Lick trip with the other courses.
Never heard of Lucas Oil and honestly thought you may have made a typo but sure as sh*t, it’s there and looks cool from the Google pics. Little outside of the drive window but will keep it on the list. Thank you for the suggestions!
No problem! If you ever are coming through and want to grab a round in Evansville, feel free to hit me up as well!
Navel Meade is going to be your most Linksy course in the area. It’s a great track with a couple fun quirky holes. It’s also BYOB if that’s something you’re into.
Thank you for the recommendation and Nevel Meade looks promising!
Any reason why Park Mammoth would be closed on Tuesday, March 19th?
Would shock me if that’s around aeration possibly. That or a private event.
Cool, wasn’t saying it was but was just checking to see if they have anything wierd like that.
Was going to add McLemore to the backend of my Sweetens trip but they may be closed on Tuesdays and it’s $225 in the winter.
Question for my neighbors to the north, me and my buds will be up for Thursday at the PGA then staying in Bardstown for the weekend. Looking to get in 3 rounds followed by some distilleries. We currently hav Heritage Hill, Bardstown CC, Old Kentucky Home, and Rosewood on the golf short list. Any intel on those or other options would be appreciated. Restaurant, bar, and distillery recs are welcome as well.
