High praise, sounds like I need to check it out. Zoo Bar is my fav dive bar in KCMO, Johnnie’s in KCK (and Chicagos) also quality dives.
Also, LC’s is close to Swope/HC, maybe that was the bbq place @shonseymp? That place is legit.

It can’t be explained, only experienced. For context, i grew up with my parents going and they would always tell me “you need to go here it’s amazing!”…. That’s my parents place I’m sure it sucks…. Boy was I wrong. Always listen to your elders.

Legendary joint that I’ve somehow never experienced! Sounds like a good spot for the 39th hole.
I like their bbq too. It’s not the best in the city or anything but it’s definitely good! Just don’t order the goulash.
