agreed that mine is too complicated, and colors all wrong, to look good on a shirt or white hat. The building would have to be significantly simplified to the point it may be unrecognizable.
We can wait and see if we actually get one of the spots before we effort too much. We’re up to 18 in one afternoon with some known names still missing from the roster. I put feelers out in the IA and NE threads too.

Dec 1 morning check in;
we’re up to 19 on the roster, and have blown past the STL count which has to help our chances. Oklahoma still has us beat by two. I’ve updated all of the @'s in post 3263 to only include the names of those who haven’t signed up.
Hoping some of our friends in IA and NE join us (@Sweet_Cupn_Cake ), as KC is a closer drive from Des Moines than Minneapolis is, and we have a longer season.

I have about 5 NLUers who are not Nest members who are dying to sign up.

holy hell, we’re now at 23 and in front of Oklahoma. Maybe most important is we delivered on the 20-40 projection in the application.
The google sheet can be edited by anyone now, so send them the link or just put your buddies’ names on the list and enter “not in the nest” or something in the Refuge Handle column.
I almost just put your name on the list for you. I knew if we got it going and scheduled some stuff you’d show for at least one of them.
Can get 20+ Nest members on a spreadsheet, but can’t get 8 guys to show up to a Ryder Cup showdown.

we welcome STL and all of their bitterness with open arms. I can say that if theoretically STL was brought into the fold, there’s enough interest there to host one of the “majors” during the season. STL would be treated as an equal, not as an adversary to be acquired i.e. PGA/Euro Tour.
Man… I wish. Unfortunately, the course doesn’t actually work very well. Greens are like trampolines so getting it to stay is a feat of super human ability.
Wanted to mention the Swope meet up on 12/5 again. @PSchmitt9 booked 11:36am for 4 which filled up and there is also a “Pay online” slot open at 11:27am for 4 people right before the tee time above. I’ll happily pay for that slot now if we can get another few people committing to play then. Another slot available for 4 at 11:18 as well. I really think some in person conversation about this Roost could go a long way
