Sorry if I accidentally tagged you there. Was making a joke with QMany about a road trip to Sand Hills…
Glad you’re liking Shadow, a good freind of mine moved out there last year and really enjoys it. This week is pretty much shot for me, but hopefully we can cross paths sometime soon.
@BlindWolf Welcome to KC man. I don’t live here anymore but grew up in PV. Don’t be shy about KC questions, it can be a bit of ‘hometown’ kinda place, and if you didn’t go high school here it could be tough to meet folks. You got a good group here, except @anon82308049 because he went a sissy high scohol
What brings you to KC, just work? Shadow is a great club aside from being a bit of a drive outside the loop. Have you discovered the weird little world that is QuikTrip? I would assume the one off Roe @ 435 would be an easy post round stop.
Appreciate the hospitality. Moved here primarily for work, but have found the city pretty enjoyable thus far. Haven’t been to quick trip yet, but definitely understand cult followings around gas stations coming from Texas. (Buc-ees)
Unrelated. Does anyone have a four wheel pushcart they are looking to get rid of? Walking/pushing is now my thing and thought if anyone had one laying around that would be better than buying one brand new.
I was looking for one for my brother recently and they appear on FB marketplace and then are sold within an hour it seems. They are a hot commodity right now it seems. We ended up finding a nice 3 wheel sun mountain push cart on there and were the first ones to respond. That would be my suggestion if you are having trouble finding any! Just have to be fast when they do come available.
Interesting. We dropped the guest fee at LCC temporarily. I think they’re trying to get more guest play to help make up revenue lost on dining (not to mention all the weddings that we can’t host).
They go back up June 1. Was just rereading the email. They dropped them in April, went up some but not full in May, back to usual in June. I think ours is $80 (with cart).
@CG91OD took up the offer and we had an enjoyable walk spoiled by a number of lost balls from both players. But it was a gorgeous day. A very interesting wind direction (Easterly). And some good shots were hit, albeit intermittently.
FYI The Deuce dropped the guest fees back to the normal schedule, in case anyone was still clutching their pearls. Also we are putting rakes back in the bunkers and removing the inserts from the cups so I guess it’s back to business as usual.
