Good. Research is showing it’s highly unlikely to be spread through surface contact transmission. Going to have to learn to putt with appropriate speed again though.
Anyone up for getting together next Sunday morning (6/14) for a round at Swope? It’s supposed to cool off, and it looks like they have quite a few tee times still open around 8:30a.
Let me know and I can call to try to reserve a few times without paying that online cart rate.

Cool! I went ahead and snagged three tee times starting at 8:33a. I’ll get a solid count of who’s in middle of next week and cancel any unused time if necessary.

Yep! 9 minutes apart starting at 8:33a. Last time is 8:51a. I’ll walk since it looks like it may be a nice morning.

I’ve been meaning to give an update on Oakwood for a while. Things are moving…
Finalized the sale of the club to a group of members. I believe there was an article in the Biz Journal about this a few weeks ago.
Bunker renovation and tree removal on the back nine started this week. They’re doing a full billy bunker install on the whole course and removing a ton of trees to help the greens breathe and to add some additional tee boxes for more length.
Biggest on course change will be moving the practice facility to where the tennis courts are now. This will allow both 9 and 18 to be lengthened a bit and have slight dog legs into where the range is now. They’re also going to move 4 green behind the creek for some extra length.
Exciting to see trees going down and things moving in the right direction out there. The club has been strapped for cash for so long and the members who bought the club have deep enough pockets to really make an impact.
