Beer - Lions Bridge is very good, Clock House is good and their IPA, Witch Slap, is the best in the state.
Golf - Beg, barter, or steal to get onto Cedar Rapids County Club. Its a Donald Ross that just had some renovation done and is fantastic.

Sadly, I don’t get to the midwest often outside of trips up to Minneapolis/White Bear Lake so I am interested to see what Iowa brings to the table.

Almost considered a full mea culpa here, but I finally meandered my way into a round there after 7 years of efforts. I play 80% of my rounds at stone creek so i still consider myself a man of the people.

Tornado’s Grub & Pub is very good and it’s a sick dive bar! Just outside downtown. I’ll make an assumption you’re playing the ZJ foundation classic? Wonderful event. If you have time, Ellis Park GC is a sick course to play. The OG 9 holes was done by William Langford. If you want the most provocative golf experience in CR hit up Airport National, “fast, friendly and fun family golf!”

I’ll be around all weekend (wife is in Minnesota visiting friends). If you want any specific foods i can probably come up with a decent spot. Mom and I got deep into the resturant scene after covid. Definitely would try and swing by Willie Ray’s for bbq.
