Goldfinch in a birdhouse or a nest for the logo? Somehow incorporate the wayward drive with the state of Iowa flag rather than a golf club?
I’ll try and think of some others during my meetings today and toss them out.
Also, I am happy to set up a tentative sign up sheet this afternoon to see what kind of true traction/interest we have in Iowa.
This is fantastic. If I had any design chops I would try to mock something up now. Love the idea of the wayward drive goldfinch holding the pin flag. Possible to merge the Iowa flag color block scheme with the NLU crest?
I will work something up tonight / weekend. I too would work on it now, except my day job is in excel so I think it may be relatively obvious i’m not working if I am double screening photoshop with birds and flags…

Also made some mock-ups in case its too heavy on the Hawkeye vibes though TBH the blk/wht/gld combo does have the cleanest look to it.

Love the goldfinch idea. Would be pretty sweet to have a goldfinch sitting on top of a flagstick with the flag saying NLU
