Count me in!
See you tomorrow!
Man, wish I could! Hope I can join in another round. Enjoy it!
Tis the season!
For those of you new to Houston, I’d highly recommend Space City Weather (get the app, they send out updates every morning/afternoon) Space City Weather – Hype-free forecasts for Houston, powered by Reliant
Also lol

SpaceCity weather fuqs, my mom found it before me and tipped me off to how great it is
Not sure where to put this. Long time lurker, very infrequent poster.
Getting married 9/25, would love to play Bluejack (or some other out of reach course) the day before (Friday 9/24) with my best man. He got married this summer as well and we’ve hit a lot of bucket list (Oakmont, Island Course, Longue Vue) courses along the way.
Is it impossible to get on? I’m willing to entertain whatever pot sweetening is necessary to get the job done. Not to go full Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, but I would love to get out there and play somewhere unique.
Do you belong to a club? Most head pros in the area can get you out there.
Unfortunately no. I’ve been a life long Houston muni guy and just never got around to joining a club.
Been jonesin’ for some competitive golf with fellow refugees. After scrolling the events page, the thought occurred to me that the Houston refugees might be interested in an match-play tournament a la DFW. Does this sound interesting to any of y’all? DO I make a poll or a spreadsheet?
eta: perfect time to start too since it’s almost golf season in Houston.
I’d be down!
I would call up there. I have a friend who has played out there for work stuff a few times and they pro always says he can get him out there, just has to pay the like $300-400 green fee. You might call up there and see what they say. Could be possible to get out on a weekday.
I’m so down
If you organize it, they will come
Sounds like we need a spreadsheet:
Attention Houstonians: Match play performance will be heavily weighed by your captain for next years TX Cup
Signed up and ready to get my butt kicked
All we really need to work on is our sandbagging, cause some other Texas cities really showed us how it’s done.

@chunk I’d heard good things about Blackhorse, but played the North Course last weekend and it was an absolute goat track. What gives?
My buddy and I have 2 slots available at Gus tomorrow (Friday) at 3 PM. Anyone in?
EDIT: threw them back
