Bring them! There is a shit load of great & affordable golf near Dublin.

Compared to the US Ireland is super cheap for casual golf and the place is full of places to play. Bring the clubs. It’s a 20 min faff either end at the airport and then you’re done. And the cost on the plane will pay for itself after a couple of rounds.
Also, other than high end places rental clubs will be mostly rubbish.

Very firm. Played again today and wind was blowing about 30. Made it interesting.
On another note we spent three nights in Dingle and are on our third night in Ballyferriter. I really, really want to move here.
