I’ve heard really good things about 4 or 5 courses. Probably won’t get much time to play in Nov, Dec, Jan. I did hear that they’re building a Topgolf in Farragut though.
Offer in and accepted as of tonight…walk through and inspection this weekend. Here’s hoping it’s all good!
Still got 2 spots open for Lookout Mountain Club on this Thursday, teeing off around 2pm.
I’d double check with the course that they’ll be open. The amount of rain the area is seeing might make it a no-go for them. I know the tourney at the Honors course got cancelled due to weather, so just a heads up before you potentially travel in for the round.
That’s a good call. I had a member guest canceled for today at Signal Mountain.
Gotta ask….What are yay chances of playing Sweetens in Nov?
As long as it’s not flooded, they’re open.
We played it last year in Dec. It was cold af but we had the course to ourselves and once you got off of #1 tee the wind wasn’t so bad.
Great, so with their new pass system, you can get off in the cold months pretty easily?
Yeah I think everyone’s Instagram logins freeze around November 1 so the course should be pretty open.
Now that’s funny…
I’ll call when I get settled. Was thinking of an all day deal on a Friday, pretty excited to lay eyes on it.
Playing Lookout Mountain Club this Saturday the 23rd. Purchased the round through a charity auction and have 2 spots left in the 4some. Let me know if you are interested!
Anybody have an in at Honors? Looking to take my brother and our buddy who will be in town for the weekend of Nov 19. Would appreciate it!
My contact at Chicago Golf Club might have an in, let me check with them and get back to you.
Appreciate it!! Thanks!
What are your groups handicaps. He is looking for a scratch game only.
Hello fellow East Tennesseans!
In case you didn’t know, there’s a raffle going on with some schweet prizes, including a round of golf with me and @chill at Green Meadow in Maryville, TN just south of Knoxville.
Why would you want to play with us? Because, I dunno, we’re friendly and nice and we’ll buy you some beers and lunch. Maybe even some range balls. It’ll be a luxurious outing.
Anyways there’s a lot of other prizes too, including some wedges, a custom needlepoint belt, golf balls, and more.
Check it out:
The best part? You can spend gobs of cash entering this and tell your s/o that it’s all for charity - because it is!
Everything has been donated entirely, and all raffle and auction money (yes, there’s auctions too!) will go to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Reaching Out Fore Kids, a small golf related nonprofit that helps underprivileged kids (and is run by a pro from Avon Fields, site of all Cincinnati events!).
So my question to you is: do you want to miss out on giving to a good cause and winning some cool shit, or are you gonna jump on the opportunity now, while you’re thinking of it?
I have nothing to gain here, except the satisfaction of knowing that The Refuge always comes through on stuff like this.
Go enter the raffle now!
Is anyone playing Friday afternoon or Saturday morning? I haven’t played in a month with all the moving/packing/working, but I need to get out.
A lot of us are heading to Cincy 3.0 this weekend. Maybe the following weekend?
