Thanks! Yes please
Done. Plenty of tee times to join up on in our discord. We also have a new welcome page that will break down everything you need to know!
Bridlewood GC…. Reviews please…Thumbs up or down? Thanks in advance. Thinking of playing next Monday. Down for a business conference next week.
Yes please. Thanks for the help
New to the Nest and in FTW. I’ve got the discord link but can I be added to Roost as well?
You were added a few days ago when you requested it in another thread.
If y’all are looking to add the logo to your avatars, follow these steps: go to preferences under your profile summary through your avatar (top right corner).
Scroll down on the preferences page and see if you can click “big plex” in the flair drop down, it will add the BP Roost logo to your profile.
We have ourselves a supporter on the Javier’s rec.
Between Javier’s and Katy Trail Icehouse I have Zillow reminders set
Ice House will put a dent in the wallet realllllly quick
What Mark said. It’s all fun and games until you live near it, then you budget it for about once a quarter.
Going down to see some family over the long weekend next week and thinking about bringing my clubs. What are some good places I should look into in the area?
What part of Dallas? Just wanna make sure we give you the right recommendations
Grapevine area mostly
I just played The Rangers Golf Club in Grapevine. Cool memorabilia in the pro shop/clubhouse, decent price ($95??) for a small bucket of balls and 18 w/ cart, and the conditioning was decent. Just be sure to bring water unless you want to get a visit from the cart girls, which wouldn’t be a bad thing as they were actually attractive.
Rangers is in Arlington, not Grapevine, but it’s one of my favorite upscale courses in DFW. If by some miracle you can get a tee time at Grapevine, it’s supposed to be a really fun track.
Didn’t realize it was 25 minutes away from Grapevine. The Uber ride seemed much shorter.
Flying into DFW tomorrow and have around 4 hours to kill. Anything I absolutely have to see/do that’s semi close to the airport?
Going to be in Dallas with family in early April (6th-9th), staying in Grand Prairie. Per usual, it has fallen to me to organize the golf. The people I’m traveling with are serious enough to travel with their clubs, but not serious enough to really care that much about where we play, so mostly looking for munis or other relatively affordable courses in the area.
HOWEVER, if you have an extra spot in a foursome at some point that weekend, I would also love to sneak off and play somewhere interesting with some fellow sickos.
I’ve played Tribute, Rangers Golf Course and Stephens Golf Course. All of them were fun for different reasons. I suggest checking out those three online and see what floats your boat.
