I only keep up with a few Roll Call threads (here and STL), are the other Roll Call threads getting as many dudes jumping in and shilling dogshit products? Or is this just a Chicago thing?

I was also fed up with Golf Now. I felt golf course rankings needed an overhaul so this is what I set up out create through customizabilty and percentiles. I started with courses in Chicago since this is where I have been based.
I know I haven’t been very active on The Refuge, but I attended the Summit of Mt Prospect last year and really enjoyed meeting some of you.
I am no website expert, I was opening every page from @golfscout and manually copying the information into a sheet. I would be happy to proceed with some sort of licensing agreement if that’s what’s needed.
I’m sorry to continue defending myself, but I just want to clearly explain my intentions. I am not trying to be a grifter, I am trying to make something useful and beneficial.
I apologize for the mistake it appears I made here. You guys can decide from here if anything needs to happen, but I hope I can remain a part of this group.

if it’s just names of golf courses, is that plagiarism? it’s organized information he copied which feels different than created content/ideas/research/etc.

I haven’t had many AI issues so far this school year and I am missing the juice of grilling kids about cheating. So @lonnylikes my questions are:
- @golfscout was at the Summit if I remember correctly. Why didn’t you approach him about his site or your idea for one then?
- Being that you have been a member for a while, how do you justify taking information from his site without ever talking to him on this page, in a DM or on Discord before doing so?
- What is your definition of cheating/stealing?
