I live around the corner from him but he doesn’t attend our bi weekly neighborhood shows but fitting he drove out to Elmwood Park instead. Wonder what they paid…

It is a great experience day on a course, well TFE covers.
Valet on entrance. Agree w @TeddyPargame and visit the cars/museum. Full warm up areas and range.
The scorecard says something like no man should have to wait on a shot, so tees are 30, 45 or so apart for the course to yourself experience, take your time. We had a forecaddy. Rakes are hidden in tubes and spring loaded lids by the many bunkers.
The amenities are solid, we got a 6 pack because our host encouraged it, had one beer each in our cart and like hole 5 they drove out a fresh cooler and 6er and swapped on our cart while we putted though not requested or needed. Host had us order fish tacos and they set up the food on another cart waiting behind a green.
As noted a nice bar in the mens locker/building. It is quite far from anything so have a snack and use the restroom before leaving.

I played St. Andrews in west chicago on Sunday afternoon. I’ve played it a few times at 6am midweek bc it’s $25 and you can play unlimited golf. It’s a pretty terrible course by all standards. I paid $75 to play on Sunday. I can’t believe that golf is so popular that crappy courses can have that high of rates.

Anyone else get a formal e invitation to play Medinah #3 on the 27th? Trying to figure out why I got one. Thought it might be because I’m assigned to rate it, but then the guy from Digest sent out an email telling us to make sure we get our times set up without mentioning the thing on the 27th, so not sure if they’re related.

It’s priced out perfectly at $25. If you want take one of their 1996 gas golf carts it’s $19 (I walk with my push cart). It needs about 1,000 trees removed.
