It’s thirty eight in my neck of the woods
I pronounce it rOOOOOsevelt - my wife from Cincinnati hates that pronunciation but I’m not changing

I may not be able to attend due to time limitations, but I can I order a shirt with that logo?
Im thinking yes. Have had a few people ask and more money for charity is always good. Ill work on a spreadsheet and let ya know.
Thanks for this! As we ate through the city this weekend we hit up Etta, Ciccio Mio, Blue Door Kitchen and Garden, and Girl and the Goat.
Lot of extra weight added for my drive home, but well worth it! Thank you all!
A little late, but…

If anyone wants to jump in for a wbc round we got one spot open this week.
That Ciccio Mio old fashioned
Thinking about heading over to Sunset Valley next Tuesday. Is it worth the $49 to walk it mid week? Looks amazing on the website but that’s a little steep
Parachuting in to see if anyone can answer some Cog HIll questions.
Trey does this every day, and I was annoyed when he posted one I’ve played and should know, except he just rotated the image.
That led me to two questions that I’ve had since I played it, but hadn’t thought about for a few years until now:
- What’s going on with these two holes in the middle of Ravines?
- What’s the story behind the alternate #2 on Dubsdread?
That’s @Ballgame’s music. But I’d say SV is worth $50 any day of the week.
I just played Sunset Valley for the first time last weekend, and I really enjoyed it. Challenging, but get-able and not punishing. It is also an easy and pleasant walk.
And $49 for 18 holes is really reasonable. Cheap in fact. That’s a muni price, and SV is in better shape than Caldwell or Sydney, etc.
Go for it. I think you’ll be impressed.
What are your expectations and alternatives? I’m hard-pressed to think of a course that is significantly cheaper than that which is still reasonably high quality. No snark, if you know some I’d love to check them out. I haven’t found any that match SV’s value for quality and proximity to the city. Shepherd’s Crook and Spring Valley/Kankakee can compete but you pay in travel time/gas from the city.
