I think I’m heading to Calgary from Aug 22-25. Gonna meet up with a buddy and head into the mountains to play Greywolf, Eagle Ranch, and the Springs at Radium.
But before all that, I’m likely going to setup a game at either Priddis Greens or the Glencoe. Would be looking for two more players to fill out the group. Will probably play in the morning of the 23rd.

Looking at the change in Carling’s work schedule, I think Friday is easier than Sunday for me now - she’s off work the Friday, but coming off nights so will be sleepy. Sunday she’ll be looking for activities…
Could be talked in to LIV, would LOVE to play Canmore (3 day window is even shittier), could do something else too. I’m at LIV on Sunday - can enquire about an advanced booking for the Friday. What time are we thinking for you to come through?

This would be good, totally fine to wing it as long we can for sure play somewhere worthwhile. Canmore would be awesome, I’ve never seen it but Mike had tossed it out as an idea.

Well Alberta crew, we had some fun, getting together with other refugees is the best part of this place. If you haven’t done it yet or are sitting on the fence, I strongly encourage it. Thanks to all who made the effort this go around. First rounds for me with regular contributor @Bunk and what a hoot, bomb and gauge all day, with many stories from around the continent. It sounds like he’s got us scheduled for 2025, so mark up your calendars.
Really nice to get out of edmonton with a regular e-town golf partner @cav007, I know where the bodies are buried now after a dozen hours in the car with him. Our boy shot a career best 75 and was lights out from everywhere while absolutely burying us in a match. Very very fun to see that despite the big L. What a place greywolf is too, if you haven’t made the trip get out there!
Great to meet up for more golf with @duncmitchell at wolf creek who always makes the time for meetups, and oddly has probably played more rounds of golf with my sister than I do?!
Also super fun to catch up with @cmonk28 again for another very fun round at sundre.

I love @cav007 's move so much - just an absolute on-plane masterclass. Makes me want to break down my awful inside-over the top move and start from scratch. But like… ugh.
I’m gone for a couple weeks’ vacation starting next Tuesday, but maybe a little jaunt to Edm for a run through Coal could be on the cards the second half of August?

It sounds like we all want to go play golf at Sagebrush and some of the other notable courses in the Kamloops-ish area in July 2024.
From the whatsapp chat that started this we may have enough folks interested to make some group bookings worthwhile. I did reach out to Sagebrush and they won’t begin booking or setting rates for the 2024 season until November. No idea on the other courses yet but we need a headcount to get the ball rolling.
I’ve put together a simple sheet to just get a sense of numbers, and hopes for round counts/days of golf. This is just an early expression of interest, to help refine the idea, and get an idea of what it could look like.
I’m happy to chase tee times and group bookings on everyone’s behalf once we’ve firmed up the dates, and numbers. I’ll cross-post this to make sure other folks can see it who’d expressed some initial interest.
Let me know your ideas or if I’ve missed anything obvious.
