I was looking for Saturday 8/10 and checked when the booking window opened on Friday the 2nd around 9:10PM
Could be a calendar bug - sometimes when the time slot opens up if you chose the exact date from the calendar you won’t see anything. But if you choose the day before, then use the arrow to advance to the day you want, boom - everything is there. I’ve been burned by that too.
This sounds like an event - worth giving them a call
Any Electric Phactory Workers around tomorrow to play at 12pm in Ambler, PA - had two people back out of a member guest - send me a DM for more info.

Will Stonewall and/or French Creek allow unaccompanied play?
I know it’s good and private but seems like it could be welcoming to this. Anyone ever get on there doing a reciprocal/pro to pro contact?
Thanks!
I know nothing about French Creek, but I know Stonewall will. I’d have your pro call there and set It up, unfortunately unaccompanied is pretty pricey.
Good to hear, I appreciate it. Yea I assume it’s probably 350-550 a round.
If you are on Thousand Greens, Stonewall has a ton of members and a pretty high hit rate. I played a very-last-minute member hosted round via TG recently.
I’m not on that app, no. Ill check it out.
Same question on Applebrook…think they allow unaccompanied? Trying to piece together a 2-3 course/2-3 day trip in PA and eyeing those 2 courses. Yall have some great golf up there!
Hey Philly peeps. I have 2 tickets tonight to see Leon Bridges at the Met - unfortunately cannot make it. Hit me up if you are interested, if you have a ticketmaster app I can just transfer the tix.
Hey everyone, I have four 8pm “tee times” for the Upper Deck golf experience at Citizens Bank Park Friday night that I can’t use. LMK if anyone is interested.
Philly friends! I’m going to be in town next week Wednesday (3/19) to Sunday morning for the NCAA wrestling tournament. Staying downtown at the Marriott by City Hall. Any good food recommendations for that area for Wednesday night? Or good breakfast spots for the mornings. Will be at Wells Fargo Center Thursday (12-3:30 and 7-10:30), Friday (12-3 and 8-10:30) and Saturday (11-1:30 and 7-10). Where would be a good bar to go between sessions each day? I’m guessing taking the train north a few stops might be the best move since there will be 20,000 people all looking to do the exact same thing at those times. Thanks!
@MackReiter youre gonna be right near reading terminal market for all your breakfast and lunch needs. The donuts at Beiler’s are amazing there. Dinic’s for a proper roast pork sandwich (my favorite Philly sandwich).
Dinner up near there you have a bunch of good options. El Vez is great for Mexican or Sampan for Asian are two I like but seriously a million options. Pietro’s on walnut (short walk to rittenhouse) is casual for pizza/italian. And if you want a great burger and bar, check out Good Dog. Also not a far walk from where you’ll be staying.
Down near the WFC you could walk SOUTH about 1 block on broad (and under 95) to the Navy Yard entrance where you’ll find the gatehouse. It’s a bar/restaurant owned by Vetri/Urbn and when I worked down there hardly anyone outside workers in the navy yard knew it was there. So probably not a place a lot of out of towners are going to even know about.
Walk a few blocks north on Broad past citizens bank park and you’ll get to Packer ave, take a left and find the Chickies and Pete’s there in a small strip mall. A Philly institution.
You could take the train or an uber up to east passayunk ave too. cantina is great Mexican food and margs there. Also, for straight up dive bar, there’s Ray’s Happy Birthday Bar about 10 minutes from Cantina.
There’s a massive complex, Xfinity live, that is in the same parking lot complex of the WFC and that’s where most people end up. Massive bars inside and out there.
Good breakfast spot right by you is Green Eggs. They’re cash only and you shouldn’t have trouble getting a table if you get there before 10a.
Agree with @ChickPhilA about Good Dog. Would add Goldie (falafel and turkish coffee shakes) and Federal Donuts (amazing fried chicken sandwich) which are both less than 5 minutes from your hotel.
If you’re into coffee, go to La Colombe on the other side of city hall. Would be able to recommend a ton of other places, so feel free to DM if you need more.
I could probably eat a falafel at Goldie and get a scoop at Van Leeuwen ice cream every night of my life and consider it a life pretty well lived.
If you were up for a short Uber the salatim course at Laser Wolf is something you won’t soon forget.
Across the street from El Vez is Double Knot if you’re looking for a nice cocktail lounge, sushi bar, or izakaya dining experience.
This is my favorite thread of the year.
This would be my top recommendation….so incredibly good!!
The pastrami breakfast sandwich from Hershel’s in the reading terminal is heavenly.
Also recommend Chinatown, Nan Zhou for noodles or Emei for Szechuan.
For a fancier night my wife and I just snuck out to Enswell, which was a delicious meal. We didn’t get it, but the warm potato bread looked fantastic. It’s essentially a giant piece of potato bread with what was described to me as “cheese loose mashed potatoes” poured over top.
Haven’t been there yet, but also have heard great things about Estia for greek food.
As for bars, I am partial to the Black Sheep. Small Irish pub, great low key vibes.
