Anyone coming in from out of the area I highly recommed planning an extra day and heading up to Lawsonia. Only 90 minute drive from Erin Hills.

A month before my wife’s due with our first. I made this trip from NW Burbs last year it took under 1.5 hours. Hoping to snag a spot.
Babies can come early. Inside a month is a big risk. About a month before my son’s due date, I had to go out of the country on business and was nervous the entire time. Fortunately for me, he was born a few days after the due date. Besides, that last month is when your wife needs the most assistance.
But you make the right decision for you.

I think the night of May 1st is going to be an internet bloodbath akin to a Ticketmaster event or non Southwest frequent fliers trying to snag an A/B boarding pass.

How many spots are allocated for this event? That would help determine the need for a lottery for sure.
In Pittsburgh, definitely looking to sign up for event. Would be down to carpool if so.

My Dad and I are taking a 30th/60th birthday golf trip up there the 16th-20th. Playing Erin Hills that Wednesday (will provide a scouting report) then headed to Kohler to play both courses at Whistling and Blackwolf Run… hope to run into some of y’all that are up there early.

Last April’s Bandon lottery had about 260 entries for 60ish spots, if memory serves correct.
