Registration opens soon!
The NLU Summer Festival will be an incredible time, with about 68 spots up for grabs.
We’re going to do a lottery with sign-ups starting Monday, May 1st at noon ET and ending Wednesday, May 3rd. Link to Registration is HERE. As of now, the lottery will be open only for Nest members.
All registrations will go to the waitlist and are pending the lottery and credit card authorization the week of May 8th. Cards will not be charged (only authorized) at registration.
New News! We are excited to announce that our partners at BMW are offering participants tickets to the Sunday round of the BMW Championship at Olympia Fields as an added bonus for the weekend. Tickets are optional and free of charge to those in the playing field. Each participant will be allowed one (1) ticket.
Cost: $600 - Nest Member ($690 - Non Nest Member), which includes 18 holes at Erin Hills, 9 holes on the Kettle Loop, putting contest on the Drumlin, Caddie fee, breakfast, lunch, libations, tee gift, prizing, ticket to BMW Championship, and general debauchery.
With this being a Monday event, it’s a fantastic opportunity to bookend some golf on the front end to build a longer trip around the event.
General Schedule:
Sunday, August 20th
- Arrive at leisure
- Take advantage of the ticket to the BMW Championship
- Informal meetup at the tournament TBD
- Head up towards Milwaukee that evening (encourage folks to carpool if coming from Chicago) The drive is roughly 2 hours.
Monday, August 21st
- Arrive by 6:30 am to check in, grab breakfast and warm up
- Morning tee times beginning at 7:00 am (Double tee start)
- Followed by lunch and contests from 12:00 - 3:00 PM
- Afternoon tee times on the Kettle Loop beginning at 3:30 pm
- Drinks and awards following play on the Kettle Loop

Honestly though, if you’re gonna participate in both Lawsonia and Erin Hills, are you really going to want to drive to south of Chicago to watch the BMW? Assuming I get into both events, I’m probably going to stay in Wisconsin for 5 days.
I’m all ready driving across Wisconsin. What’s another two hours?

A valid WHS/GHIN or other is required (or proof of current handicap). Otherwise, we will have you play as scratch or better depending on format.

Please Read if you plan on registering for the NLU Summer Festival
- On Monday, you’re going to see “Join the Waitlist” as the registration option. Don’t freak out and think the event is already full. We send everyone to the waitlist as our way of collecting registrations for the lottery.
- The lottery is open only to Nest Members for now. Search for your Nest Handle not your actual name when it prompts you to do so.
- The member list has been updated for all Nest members that joined prior to April 20, 2023. If you joined after that please DM me.
- If you have ANY issues at all just send me a DM and I’ll get you taken care of ASAP.
