This is so cool. Pretty complex instrumentation performed live perfectly but extremely chill the entire time.

I hadn’t heard of Kiwanuka before this album - absolutely binging his stuff the past month. His music is just beautiful.

I crammed a year’s worth of music discovery into a couple weeks and built a massive best of '24 playlist. I pieced it together into a coherent set (flows through the spectrum of genres Indie → Hip Hop) and was pleased with how it came together so spreading the wealth / sharing it here in case anyone is interested.

Theres a ton of good stuff on here! 2024 was such a good year for indie.

I made a point to write down, re-listen, and make a list+ranking of my favorite music released in 2024. I had a lot of fun doing it and I think I’m gonna do it again in '25
