An incredible Minnesota night to get lightly stoned, have an IPA, and listen to the new Future in anticipation of grilling some burgs in a bit.
This makes me happy. Johnny Marr and Billy Bragg hanging out (and Paul Weller being in the same city).
Currently watching a bunch of Smiths covers on YouTube. Marr and Vedder doing “There is a Light”. Rick Astley and Gin Blossoms doing the greatest hits.

Fuck this sucks
First album from a Almost Monday - relatively new San Diego band. Indie pop/rock with a southern california slant. It’s really good!! Especially the middle section from “never enough” to “sunburn”.
If this came out when I was in high school I would have made it my entire personality
Oh I’m digging this!
Just found out about this guy. Love him. For some reason his voice and the rhythms of his songs, just yes, give me it all.

Sorry friends, the new Coheed song that dropped yesterday?

Will listen and probably disagree tomorrow!
I think I’m on my 5th or so listen of this album now? Just such great work music I can bop along to.

Maybe it’s the Comatose of Vaxis Act III ![]()

Comatose grew on me enough that I don’t hate it anymore. I also love Vaxis II so take that for whatever it’s worth. Maybe this one fits really nicely between the tracks that surround it? Maybe?
Saw Sturgill at the Salt Shed in Chicago a couple nights ago and just wanted to pinpoint for everybody the exact moment my face was melted. The transition between Welcome to Earth and Clockmaker when the heavy ass guitar came in was wild. Probably the best musical performance I have ever seen just dudes jamming for three hours flowing into and out of songs.
Napoleon Dynamite voice: lucky…
Still several tracks on Vaxis II I enjoy a lot, but I’d also be up for something blending between Vaxis I and Afterman I
Vaxis I is better than II. I just really enjoy Vaxis II in spite of how different it is. It’s a full journey. I need an Afterman Neverender tour in my life.
