Music Suggestions 2 - driving fast in my car

I believe there’s a Maynard quote floating out there where he says that out of the entire catalog, it’s the best song to get the full Tool experience from.

I rewatch this compilation vid every so often just to feel alive.

Could also post this in the Mental Health thread, type of song that makes me teary eyed.

Dua Lipa Dua Lingo

Brat Autumn is here :eyes: :green_heart: :fallen_leaf:

One of my favorite bands released their first album! Indie pop sound with some soul influence.

The lead singer has maybe my favorite voice in all of music right now

They released tour dates and have a show in Phoenix during the NIT…hmmm

How did that happen? Caught their first shows?

Not sure if this is what you’re asking but they had only released singles from 2017 until now - not their first published music just their first LP

Put this on yesterday, it’s excellent and her voice is tops.

Listening to a lot of more chill music lately as I deal with some difficult life stuff.

This song and the lyrics really hit me hard this week. Still Woozy is great if you haven’t heard of him and like psych/indie stuff

Would you believe it’s still possible to find out about new music on the radio? (Shout out 93.1 XRT). Cool album.

Came across this band a couple weeks ago from this guy I follow on Instagram.

Haven’t dug in on any of their other stuff, but this album is pretty legit, very chill, Khruangbin-y vibes, you might dig it.

9k monthly listeners and these songs have <20k streams, getting in on the ground level!

This is GROOVY. I like it! TY for sharing. “Leaving” is my favorite track so far. 10k followers on spotify is a crime. They should have 1M

Separate set lists for each night.

Opening act 1st night - Limp Bizkit, Ice Nine Kills
Open act 2nd night - Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies.

New music from Maggie today

Friend invited me to the Philly leg of that tour next year. Not sure it’s worth traveling to Philly for a bunch of washed guys and Pantera

I haven’t seen Metallica in 30+ years (Fargodome!). I was going through their catalog on Spotify and realize I probably haven’t listened to any of their albums since just after that as well. Load/Re-Load era maaaybe.

But I’m going to this one. Told my wife she has to wear a Vulgar Display of Power tshirt as well.
