Yesssss! My favorite album so far this year. I expect the MGMT album in two weeks to take the top spot but it has competition.

Bending Hectic is honestly one of the greatest songs I think I have ever heard. It’s a full novel cover to cover in one song.

Shoutout to Paramore for winning best new rock album at the Grammys for This is Why. I’m not big on awards shows in general but that is a fucking brilliant record so it’s hard to say they erred there.

If you are into The Smile and Radiohead there is a podcast called Dissect that breaks down albums track for track. This season was Radiohead In Rainbows. I’m not a musician but they get into the weeds on how they construct these songs and it shows how unreal those guys are. It blew my mind.

Just listened to Beyoncé’s new country song, Texas Hold ‘Em.

Maybe I’m reaching, and maybe I definitely want to share this song because it’s awesome, but the guitar part in Texas Hold ‘Em sounds just like Prisoners by John Denver.
