Max is a bud of mine (and an incredible songwriter). Can’t wait to tell him he’s getting some run time on my niche golf message board!
Big big fan of his. Love Signals Midwest as well. I’ve listened to that live album a ton.
They’re so good. I filled in for his other band Timeshares a couple of times, they just put out a great album this year.
I cant help reading this in Patrick Bateman’s voice when he’s talking about huey lewis and the news.
Crushcrushcrush is an all time banger to me. I love that song so much.
Just pulled this guy up on YouTube. I like his sound a lot.
I’m completely fine with this, for the record
For the punk fans
This is goooooood. Dangerous to listen to while driving good.
Born in the Heat and Trick of the Light are my fave tracks
So T Pain released a covers EP yesterday titled ‘On top of the covers’. It’s 8 songs that he said has meant something important to him at different points in his life (War Pigs, Tennessee Whiskey, Don’t Stop Believin’ … things of that nature). Haven’t had the opportunity to sit down and listen to the whole thing, but I’ve heard a clip or two and man this gui is talented. Not that I didn’t know that already, but when I think of T Pain I don’t necessarily think of vocals like this, which is probably unfair. Definitely excited to get around to listening through it soon
The only season of the masked singer I ever watched with my wife T-Pain won and we were FLOORED that the voice was his. Dude is so extremely talented.
I think he did one of those NPR small desk concerts a few years ago and killed it.

Oh yeah
After this god awful Spotify update I’ve been messing around with Apple Music and I gotta say it’s better
Came across some very different bands recently, both of which I felt should be shared.
First is Bailen. They have a sound that is a mix of Fleetwood Mac and a modern alternative folk band. Very goo to my ears. Spotify
Second is Cory Wong. Found him through Vulfpeck Funk oozing out of evey pore. Spotify
