For me, it’s #7 - The Weather Station. While this was not on my personal top albums of the year list, I listened to it a half dozen times when it came out and enjoyed it.
Damn this is making me realize how unplugged I’ve been from new music the last year.
First one I’ve both listened to and liked is #25 Indigo De Souza: Any Shape You Take
I got to 14 and 15 to finally find artists I’d heard of and liked! Both Japanese Breakfast and Snail Mail are great records

I recognize a slew of the artist’s names, but the only album on this list I actually listened to was #6 Turnstile’s Glow On. They are the only artist in this list in “the scene” that I follow and I’ve been listening to them for a long time. This album has blown them up…deservedly so. That album is a banger, still find it strange they are attracting the kind of attention that they are right now, it’s cool that it is happening for them though!
