The e-ink is dried on my fiancee’s contract and we’re officially moving to Wichita in July.
Thank you for the previously sent info regarding Wichita, places to live and overall feel of the city. We’re nervous but excited for this move. Being able to play golf for more than 7-8 months that I get here in Buffalo will be a welcome change.
My fiancee and her parents are headed down next week to start looking at houses and get a feel for the housing market. We’re hoping we can settle on a place 
But regardless, I hope to meet and tee it up with ya’ll soon after the move.
Does Wichita fall under the Great Plains roost or have some gone and joined with the OK crew?
You will be warmly welcomed to the GPGC (Great Plains roost). We are actively finding ways to better engage the Wichita area (and greater Kansas) in our event schedule. One example being The Standoff at Sand Creek where the GPGC will be squaring off against the Supercell on May 11th. We also have a monthly quota game which allows those GPGC Buffaloes in the outer reaches of our geographical footprint to still participate in a fun game from the comfort of their local course with the chance to win some cash and points toward our Regional team. @scagnetti is our Roost Captain and can get you set up with access to our Roost threads.
Bmac covered this exceedingly well, and I’d be honored if Mr. Sauce joined the Mighty Buffalo.
Next year we hope to have an event in western Kansas at a hidden gem in Garden City, Buffalo Dunes.
And of course if you venture close enough to Kansas City, the Buffalo get more and more numerous. It’s a short 3-hour drive and we’re far too hospitable to leave to ourselves!

Hate that I am missing the Standoff, won’t be down in KS until July but hope to #getinvolved locally and with the roost.

Oh man, all these new additions have me pretty pumped for my upcoming move! Has there been any talk of a KC v Wichita interstate event? Mind you, I’m not very good but still enjoy a bit of a competition.
