Inaugural Old Fashioned: Irish Coffee edition - Tee times and Pairings post 215

Not just “snow” on the forecast for tomorrow, but “snow showers”… Why they gotta add the “showers” part? Don’t scare us like this!

Huh? Why? How? Who?

Assuming nothing on the ground - which there wouldn’t be. I’d 100% prefer a light snow while playing to like 38 and a light rain. Don’t get as wet in snow and the temp difference is negligible

Can I just request we have neither and we all have fun?

Anyone who has played in freezing rain and snow would have this opinion.

It’s stated / worded weird but I actually completely agree

See my post above yours. Played in both. Want to do neither.

I for one, am hoping for a massive scoring debate with multiple rules violations

On it! I’ll keep like 4 cards with wildly different scores for our group.

I mean right now it’s forecasted for 50, sun, and barely any wind, should be gorgeous.

I’m here. Current forecast is 50 degrees, no rain, light wind out of the south-southwest. If that holds I think we’ll all be very happy.

South is the prevailing wind too, get to play the course as intended. Not like a freak Northeast wind that makes everything play wildly different and is really cold

Why would you even put that out there?!

I’m going to be fascinated to see what tees everyone ends up playing and the arguments on scoring / handicaps after the fact

I’m putting it out there now, I’m playing the Green tees and won’t be convinced otherwise.

I’m just going to make up a set with @Amholzman24 for the controversy.

Bring @mikedabomb down with us, of course

Because we’re getting that out of the way on Wednesday

I’m so mentally checked out of golf now that the weather turned. Started planning my ski school classes and growing my winter beard. Big apologies to the team, but big score for @midwestgolfbum because I’ll do whatever he tells me.

I have too, then ironically I have this on Friday and was asked to play a Donald Ross in PA next week while I’m travelling there for business so gotta dust the cobwebs off quickly!
