SW wind is the prevailing direction, but again 10 degrees colder at WS than where the forecast is predicting. Solid November Irish weather though. If we dodge an East wind and rain we’ll be golden.

Final pairings and rosters are up, mostly no major changes but we were able to fill all 40 slots now which is great!
High 40s temps, currently little chance of rain and only a 1 club wind is about all we can hope for…

Can also confirm a few more items and here is a brief overview of the day:
Play your round (entry fee includes cart and range btw)
Once you complete your round hand in at least one scorecard. Reminder you have to indicate which tees you played. Scoring will be done at the bar upstairs in the clubhouse.
Once all rounds are completed we will announce winners and hand out other prizes / goodies
Afterwards feel free to stop by 3 Sheeps Brewery for a post round meet up. It’s about 10 - 15 minutes from Whistling Straits. There is some live music that night and it’s a good spot with plenty of space and good beer. You can order food for delivery as well there so you can sample more of the Sheboygan area. Happy to provide suggestions should you need them. If you’re a true sicko and haven’t had enough golf by then they also have a simulator on site you can set up a reservation for.

Do we have a confirmation (or a good idea) if the course will remain open? I’ve been procrastinating getting my hotel until it was for sure happening
I would say it’s safe they won’t close. They shut down the Straits and non-Championship holes at BWR late October and keep the Irish and Champ course (in non-maintenance years) open until conditions are unplayable or in other words snow.
Looking at the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday are gonna be cold but with it warming back up Thursday and beyond I’d say it’s doubtful they’ll close

I would like to modify my request. Is anyone planning on getting a hotel Thursday or Friday night? I’d rather not drive both ways in the same day, but if we’re partying Friday night in Sheboygan, maybe the post round hotel is the play here.

Unfortunately @craftylefty and I have to return to MPLS Friday night as I have engagement photos Saturday morning. Dispute my constant pleading, she won’t move it for me to hang out with my internet friends.

Thanks m8. Also we just dropped 10° here under the predicted temp last night. I’m really hoping that the same can’t be said for Haven, considering if there is any precipitation it would 100% be snow…

As long as it warms back up by Friday like it says it’s going to I think we will be fine. I really cannot express how excited I am for this round of golf. This is the most pumped I’ve been all year.
