Oh come on Faldo, give us a break!
Iām going to get to the course when gates open to walk it before the chaos but otherwise Iād partake
X-rays on the foot today confirmed no structural damage so feeling a lot more hype right now for this weekend. Will probably try to hit some balls tomorrow.
I am semi interested, but I would be coming from Arlington, VA so it would be a very early moans looonngg day.
@MerchCzar I was marshaling today and as I was leaving I saw an employee absconding with a bunch of NLU merch for storage. Didnāt see any of it in the merch tent. Is it selling in the BMW pavilion?
Iām in!
Did you get an answer to this? I was wondering the same but didnāt have the stones to ask lol
Bumping this⦠I just looked at the FAQ and apparently if you donāt have a BMW or parking included with your ticket, you have to buy a shuttle pass in advance for $20 to park at the Metro Center about 10 minutes away. It says you cannot register on site when you arrive at the parking area.
Is there parking included with our tickets? Maybe we can work out some sort of car pool so weāre not all paying for parking.
Iāll throw it out there if nothing else - I live in Locust Point on the south side of the harbor, and thereās a parking deck next to my building for which the first two levels are public access for the Harris Teeter next door. Would be a relatively safe spot to leave your vehicles and carpool up to the $20 lot.
Will sell online. Just a few items on display in the BMW pavilion. You probably saw the tee gifts for the Friday event.
I offered him cash. Your stuff is safe.
If memory serves we were asked in the registration portion of our preference. Hoping for a great (but hot) walk.
Will let @Privatecollection chime in on walking/riding but I believe both are options.
Also, weāll have these on the shelf in the NLU shop in the coming weeks with the wayward logo on top. Proceeds to Evans Scholars Foundation:
Hey there,
Walking/Riding depends on what you indicated on your registration. As of right now, Iāve only got four or so people that have requested a cart.
FWIW, BCC is pretty walkable. The back nine does have more elevation change than the front, the last few holes can be a bit of a challenge (especially walking up the hill on 17), but by no means is it overwhelming.
There are also a few coolers near the 4th tee/7th green and by the 13th/14th tee boxes with cold bottled water, and a halfway house next to the 9th tee box.
Tron also said there will be a shuttle from the Pendry for those staying there I believe.
Iām going to the tournament tomorrow and bought a parking pass so I can update the parking info then for those planning on driving to Caves on Saturday.
Perfect thanks! Do we know if pushcarts ok or must carry? Indicated/plan to walk but want to know what to pack. Thanks again for feedback!
Iām going to the tournament tomorrow as well. I was planning to purchase a parking pass but I received an email this morning that my company sent me a free parking pass.
Itās a shame weāve had so much rain, heat, and humidity the past few weeks. Itās going to be a slog out at Caves. But still fun to watch the pros.
