This is BS… that barn isn’t even red.

Still learning how to work with the SaaS. Coloring buildings is on version 2.0.

This is incredible. I’m glad I stumbled upon this thread. BCNGC, I can’t wait to meet you.

Hold tight and follow along. We have a bunch of stuff coming here in the next few weeks. Will have on-ground progress updates and (maybe) a podcast talking about the course, what we have done, and what the plan is. One of our crew members does the production for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America podcast and has an at home studio.

Got a few other things we’ve been working on that I’ll share later… for no other reason then dramatic effect.

Glad you found us!

good lord

there’s now a twitter account??

As a founding national member, I extend a warm welcome to our slice (or hook) of heaven.

Best,
scuff

P.S. Stickers should be in this week. And, like all things BCNGC, they are free.

Whoops… that happened! Haha. How else would our national founding membership stay up to date on club happenings?

If you need a non-competing marker for tournament purposes, @JKnox_59 will gas up the private jet and be there.

I would like to humbly submit my services to creating your online yardage book. A list of my accomplishments are below:

  • extensive google earth experience. Able to sloppily approximate distances and elevation changes
  • freehanding contours that may or may not be correct
  • detailing carry yardages that are not in play, but certainly make the page look sweet
  • excessive yardages

An example form my portfolio of work is below, please contact for more information. Obviously pro bono work

*please note alternate teeboxes and excessive carry numbers…its a deluxe package but we can discuss pro bono pricing for that as well.

Kind Regards,
2trickpony

Very impressive indeed. Your work is outstanding. Let’s chat in the next week about getting something going. Got something I can share with you that’ll make it possible.

What program do you use to make that?

Inkscape, free download. Took a bit of time to learn / study how effective yardage books work, but once learned you can map a par 5 in less than 30 minutes minutes.

Do you need a model or template to work with or can you make it from scratch?

@scuff name this course!

Is it a real hole? If so, you got me. People always talk about things like, “On 14, I hit a cut that carried about 220 and you were in the bunker with 200 left.” And, I just look at them, “I was? Dude, how do you remember that?”

Drugs are bad, kids. Don’t do them.

I know that you are looking for a yardage book for this course, and want to pay as little as possible. If you would like, I can design a yardage book for this course for free. Here are some examples of work I have done before. This is a hole from the Hamilton Golf & Country Club yardage book that I designed. If you are trying to design the yardage book by your self, you can explore the links below.

(You have to click on the photo to view the whole hole).

Thanks,

Best thread in The Refuge and I have a pit in my stomach that I haven’t been able to follow along in real time. This is all sorts of awesome.

Can’t wait to watch this continue to evolve and take on it’s own nuances, personality and traditions. I fully anticipate champions dinners, an impressive bar, and best membership anywhere.

The Stonewall / Sweetens of Kansas…before you know it TBC and others will aiming to be their state’s version of Some Guy’s Backyard or Brough Creek National.

Would 100% buy merch from here.

All in favor of renaming this thread “The Brough Creek National Charter”?
