Good moisture wicking compression shorts (I like Under Armor) with Linksoul Boardwalker shorts are my go to for the summer. The boardwalkers are super light weight and made from a board short (bathing suit) like material. The shorts are pricey, but sometimes you can find a deal on a new-with-tags pair on eBay.
In other news… City of Houston just cancelled Rodeo. That’s kind of serious…
Glad I went last weekend
Dallas cancelled the St. Patrick’s parade too. Shout out Zeke
Golf club of Dallas tomorrow morning if anyone wants to go.
Pampers underneath the shorts. Works like a charm! (I imagine!)
Would love to go. Don’t think my boss would let me take work off. Should just convince him to quarantine the office…
I’m hoping the powers at be give us the mandatory “work” remotely.
On furlough for the time being, anyone wanna take a trip?
DFW folks, do y’all know what precautions courses here are taking besides leaving the pin in to putt? Are most courses still open?
It’s not DFW but most of the courses in the Houston area have closed club houses and bars/snack shacks.
Duel at the Alamo reunion at Brack!
What do the DFW folks know about indoor golf places here? I’ve found a few places online, but wanted to get the opinions of people that have done them. Worth it? Fun? Difficult? Thanks!
1611 in Aledo is pretty good. 5 dollars buys you a cup and then its free beer. All the machines are good too, Ive used it a decent amount this winter. Thats the only one that I know though
All city of Austin courses are open for walking only (and are free). They’re still mowing too. What a time to be alive (?)
Any private club in the City of Dallas is now shut down as well. No access to the premises for unaccompanied golf/tennis
DAC is still doing tee times but has limited to no guests and walking only. Was a ghost town yesterday afternoon (which was awesome)
Where are you seeing free? I just see the amenities are closed.
Amenities closed = no one to pay in the clubhouse. You can park and walk to the tee
