Hey y’all, first post here. Been in Dallas for about 3 years now after moving from Phoenix. Currently at a 4.1 but that’ll be taking a sharp turn upward here shortly.
Open to getting out on Sundays and potentially a short roadtrip here and there.

Sunday’s forecast is looking promising! Anyone want to get a group together? I know some of y’all need a tune up before San Antonio!
What’s up guys. Central Texan living in Cameron, home of the prestigious 9 hole track that is Cameron Country Club. It’s not what you’d consider a standard Country Club by any means, but I’ve never had to book a tee time and we can usually start 9 or 18 wherever we can find a gap in play. Also been known to play 54 with @NF12Gigem more than a time or 2. It’s a weather dependent course so it can get pretty baked out in the summer, but we try to take care of the greens and tee boxes and it’s good to us.
Oh shit someone lives in Cameron. I played in the Aggie Mom’s tourney out there last year, and my foursome lost 1st place to a fivesome
. My territory covers Milam County so I’m up your way alot.
Are y’all always cart path only on all holes?
I could get interested. When and where are you thinkin?
Literally anywhere, and I’m typically a morning/mid-morning guy. I’m in Southwest McKinney. Willing to drive anywhere in the DFW.
Yeah, unfortunately we are. We are weather-dependent and don’t have irrigation for the fairways so that’s the only way to keep them in good condition. (Or at least that’s what’s they’ve always told me)
got kicked out of the Alamo thread so here I am.
360 sucks.
Clay/Kizer rules.
Rainey St is dying a slow death.
Torchy’s sucks. I said it.
My Austin hot takes are all probably a decade stale. I rarely get down there anymore and don’t have many peeps in town these days.
Torchy’s does suck.
Rainey sucks.
I wish Clay/Kizer would stop having greens disintegrate.
Every road in Austin sucks, but 360 & 2222 are probably the worst.

It’s overpriced and the tortillas are a disgrace.
it does. that trailer park taco is nasty. the tortillas are embarrassing. the queso is legit though.
Counterpoint. It’s okay. But the queso is very good. Agreed on the trash replacement-level grocery store tortillas.
Agreed. Queso is baller. But I’m not going to a taco place for queso.
I will give them credit for making their own chips. Way better than TacoDeli chips.
Ya’ll say Bee Caves or Bee Cave? There is only one correct answer.
Bee Cave, but I don’t even know what’s considered the right answer
Bee Cave.
I got a speeding ticket on 77 north of the Cefco in Cameron one time. Shoutout Milam County.
