What time and where on Sunday?
Thanks! I’ll be living in Knox Henderson area and my office is North Dallas.
Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately, I’ll still be getting situated in the new place while my folks are in town. Next time.
Moody Gardens is a ton of fun, especially on a windy day. Very quirky routing that gets you lost at times which I loved.
Definitely check out Cedar Crest. Interesting drive to get there but it’s a Tillinghast that held the 1927 PGA Championship and the course is awesome to play. They also hold the Dallas Amateur Championship qualification rounds there.
Looking at an 8:06 tee time at Pecan Hollow this Sunday. Anyone want to join? Spot is for 2 players.
Unfortunately I can’t get out this weekend after all. Starting to get the shakes from all the golf I’m not playing lately. Might be able to get out next Sunday.
I started talking to the guys at pine dunes. Doesn’t seem like they are willing to cut any kind of deal for us coming as a group, even if we rent out 10 rooms and stay for a couple of days. I’ll keep y’all posted but it looks like a cost of ~$300 + golf for 2 nights of double occupancy in March and April. I’m going to try and get ahold of someone else over there in the next few days to see if we can negotiate at all but they seemed pretty set on the published rate. You guys still interested?
If the date works out, I’ll be there, rates be damned. On more than one occasion they’ve given me a better deal than expected for my son’s green fee so they’ve bought my returning business.
Could definitely be interested. Been meaning to get up to Pine Dunes.
I’m definitely interested, but the entire months of March and April are likely no-go zones for me.
Amarillo checking in here. We’re blessed to have a 2 really solid public options in Amarillo proper at Ross Rogers. The mustang course is a handful when the wind blows, which in Amarillo is everyday. There are some great vibes down in Canyon at Palo Duro Creek, but I may be a little biased because that’s where I cut my teeth. Also 2 really great country clubs, but I’m not a C suite guy yet, so I hang around the munis
Always looking for new folks to play with. If you happen to come to be in town, hit a brother up and we’ll launch em’.
My club is running a special tomorrow and the guest fee is only 40 buckS, trying to get a group together around one if anyone is interested?
If anyone is going to NAPE in Houston please reach out, would love to grab a coffee with like-minded folks
Not going this year but have been in years past. My liver is very happy with the decision this year…
Going for networking basically and not wanting to drink, so yeah that’ll be tough
This will be the first NAPE in a while I won’t be at. Wish I was going!
I had to google what NAPE was.
yep. PGA Show for oil and gas.
networking and drinking. and drinking.
Listen, these steak dinners ain’t going to eat themselves. Might as well be me…
Very Solid— so solid in fact, Maridoe used their strain for their farirays as well.
