A thread for the Texas folks

Any chance you have an in at boot ranch? Been wanting to try it out for awhile

For those of you around Houston you have to make the trip out to the Wilderness at Lake Jackson. The course is really walkable and has maybe the most interesting greens I have seen anywhere in the state of Texas. Giant two swale Biarritz green, huge boomerang greens and a couple of redans with enormous kickers.

Just got back from horseshoe bay last night, it was in amazing shape, Slick was pretty straight forward, ram and apple had a lot of elevation change, club up on ram, take a lot of balls, and buy the yardage books

Anyone wanna get out Monday or Tuesday? The weather’s supposed to be phenomenal

I’m in for Monday (tomorrow). Where?

Anywhere in the dfw area, what works best for you?

I’m good with cedar crest, keeton park, or golf club of Dallas today.

Let’s all welcome @HashtagChad to the great state of Texas. Good luck at your new job!

Fellow McKinney resident here! Glad to have you! Would love to tee it up with you someday.

Someone tell me what’s going on, is @HashtagChad now a fixture in The Lone Star State?

Anyone wanna get a round in tomorrow morning? Or late afternoon?

He’s with dudeperfect apparently

No way… I thought this was a joke when @jbrooks said it! Good for him, but Callaway lost one near and dear to many

Edit: Maybe not entirely lost, as Callaway does sponsor the dudes

Thanks guy! Love it here already. Didn’t realize how much I missed the finer things in life (Schlotzsky’s, QuikTrip, Whataburger, Tex-mex, etc.) until we got back here. Let’s go launch 'em sometime!

Oh boy, Chad is working with a bunch of Aggies now. I bet you can’t wait for the A&M-Arkansas game next year!

New SoTex golfer signing into the thread.

if this is just some kind of play to get close to where Gil Hanse’s new course is going to be, i am afraid that you might have made some kind of a mistake. I am sure its going to be great, but that land is not.

Welcome (back?) to Texas.

I might be down, what time? where?

Best breakfast tacos in Texas on me if you ever make it down to San Antonio, Chad.
