Hey guys, kind of a long shot here, but I’m looking for a couple people to play with in the Grapevine/Flower Mound/Mid-Cities area. I’m in my 30’s, new to the game, played 7 or 8 times now (shot a 90-something at Lake Park in Lewisville). A couple of my buddies play, but they’re on other sides of the metroplex and it’s a pain for all of us to regularly meet up at a location that makes sense for everyone (looking at you, Glen Rose), so I’m trying to get a more local group.

@DanJanuary it’s a very fun, open track. D.A. Weibring spent a crap load of Plano Tax Payer money about 4 years ago and the course has matured well. Likely the best tees and greens in DFW for public course. Course is walkable.

Only downside is they usually limit walking tee times to after noon on the weekends. I was able to book a 7 AM tee time walking once for a Saturday, but it was a one off. Agree with the conditions, though. The course has been in great shape all year and is a great walk.
Anyone want to try to play an early round thanksgiving morning in the DFW area?
If I’m playing on a Saturday morning out there should I be better off to walk or ride in a cart? ( I prefer walking)
If you’re asking about Golf Club of Houston…gotta do cart. There are some long walks in between holes…

Anyone in Dallas want to play early Friday morning somewhere? Other than Stevens, I’m seeing lots of open tee times right now before 8 at Cedar Crest, Irving, GCOD, or if anyone is looking to splurge, Rangers.
I would be down to play Cedar or GCOD friday. I think the wifey and I are coming into town this thursday.
Would be down for any of those.

I’m in San Antonio and drive to Fredericksburg probably once a month. I’ll have to let you know next time I’m up there.
