Got two spots at pine dunes tomorrow at 1030. Two buddies cancelled last minute. Carriage departs from uptown at 0830 if anyone wants to join.

I’m heading out to Pine Dunes this Friday, had a few guys also drop out so I figured I’d reach out here. I have a 3:00pm tee time with 2 slots open, a 8:10am on Saturday with 1 slot open, and a 2:30pm with another slot or two open.

To all the Houston refugees:
My gf got me a tee time at Golf club of Houston as a gift on Saturday Nov. 14 at 8:40 AM.
Would love the tee sheet to be filled by fellow refugees if anyone is available. Also what should I be expecting from this place?
Pretty big course with a good amount of water. Drive on 18 makes me pucker as there’s water left the whole way home. They used to host the Houston Open (shout-out Houston Open this week at Memorial Park). I always enjoy playing there. You can find $50 hot deals every so often.

I’m playing in a tournament at my club that weekend. Love Golf Club of Houston. I think you will enjoy it too. White tees are short. However, they put a lot of the blue tees near the tips and it becomes a big boy course real fast. Choose your tees carefully. And, have fun.

I think there’s a combo set of tees that combine the blue and white tees which work for me.

Possibly, however, no river running through the course. I also don’t think the city would bring people in to redesign Hancock before figuring out what to do with Lions.

I’ll be in Marshall. Not sure if I’m going to have time to sneak away for a round of golf, but I’m going to try at some point during that week (at least, I will have my clubs with me to make me think I have a chance…haha.)

last hole of HS golf tryouts freshman year…needed a 2x bogey to make the team…and hit 5 OB off the tee.
needless to say I didnt make the team…and also did touch a club for about 6 months after. HATE THAT PLACE

Yeah I am not positive I will be able to either. It has yet to be decided but the clubs will go with me. Baby 2 comes right before Christmas so trying to play as much as possible.

the content has a couple tests to gauge your baseline talent/skill so you can start working toward improving. I converted those table to a google sheet document full of nerd formatting and data validation. feel free to use them if you find them useful!
