After our round today at Bodega Harbour Links the RACDG NorCal have wrapped up our 4 round qualifying series and our 4 person team for Regionals is solidified. Congrats to @3jackbirdie for dominating our 4 round quota game (golfers had to play in at least 3) and earning medalist. And congrats to @bw72 for his extremely solid play over 4 months to earn a spot. Yours truly finished hot today to snag the 3rd spot. The 3 of us will join our 2021 Club Champion @j.holliday (who earned an exemption) on our Regional team to take on the PNW Crew at Pasatiempo in July.

This process/competition was a ton of fun. At the same time, as with any first go round with anything, we learned a ton about how to improve the qualifying in 2023.

The @STROHS and @BigPlex got after it at the Texas Cup last weekend in Frankston, TX. We’d love to host more from other roosts next year and show y’all a damn good time. Craic on y’all!

So long as Nor Cal is in our region again, we get to host in 2023. Probably Chambers?

The High Cotton Club held its largest event yesterday at new venue, Park Mammoth Golf Club. #TheExtinction. A field of 32 competed in 3 6-hole matches. Each group was grouped by handicap and the winner of each group earned a qualifying spot for #TheShowdown on July 9, 2022.

The day then ended with an Alt-Shot Derby on an Alternate routing of the golf course. The two man teams were decided by taking a player from handicap pool A and pairing them with a player from handicap pool B. After an incredible day Mr. Dakota Brown and Mr. Brian Turley were declared winners of #TheExtinction by making birdie on the final Derby hole.

Overall, an incredible event, at an incredible venue.

S/O @leftysauce for another great event and for getting all the details Dialed. Also a big s/o to Imperial for crushing the event hats and @flanwilder for getting these incredible bag tags for each competitor :fire:.

Can’t wait to run it back at Park Mammoth!

@leftysauce is your guy. Will check to see if any extras were ordered.

We may have had enough interest as a club to put another order in, so if we do I’ll post the order sheet in here and make sure you get a tag.
