Won the gavel at NAIMUN in 1991. Represented Colombia on the SC. The world crisis scenarios the students at Georgetown made up were fucking wild.

I met my wife in Model UN. Our school cleaned up at NAIMUN for several years in the early 2000s. The best.
EDIT: I should note that I did not win a gavel at NAIMUN, but my wife has a few.

We’ve discussed allowing “national memberships” to more than one Roost, but, you have to declare allegiance to a primary Roost for competitive events. You can’t try and qualify for things by jumping around to different roosts!
